will this incubator work?

I'm putting an incubator togather out of a 10 gallon fish tank.
I'm gonna fill it with water and add bleach to it. Will the bleach kill concams around the jars when the water/bleach solution evaporate? Or will the water/bleach solution not promote mycillium growth?

no moron, the water will be right below the ring. im using quart jars.

Okay, moron. Then why wouldn't it work?

1) The water will attract and conduct contams (even with some bleach in it).

2) The jars will float before you get the water level near the ring.

3) You risk accidentally submerging the jars, which, even momentarily, will be disasterous.

Ive knew ppl that have used water with a heater for an incubator. I just want to know if its worth my time to put bleach in the water and if the bleach (if its to0 strong) will kill the mycillium?

Get a 2nd tub and put that inside the 10 gallon tank with the bleach, then you'll be ok. Mind you, glass is IMO risky to use compared to plastic as one break and there's water everywhere. Why not use the tank as a fruit chamber and go buy 2 plastic tubs as an incubator.

One last thing, it doesn't help calling a fellah asking you a fair question a moron, because sure as shit putting your jars in water is a bad move.
