the humidity may be too high. If the mycilium are continuing to grow but no fruits are present i believe that is a sure sign the humidity is too high. More aeration would cure this problem. Get a second opinion though I just started having similar dreams myself.

Mushrooms need light to pin; a few hours of indirect sunlight, or a few of a light might do the trick.

It is not always true that they need light to pin. Sure it helps but a birdie once told me that they will do just fine without any. One bird I met in the park told me that his were under the stairs where no light reached them at all. He had a phat flush but they grew in every which direction.

nonfunc:
they DO need light to pin, but the amount of light is nearly nothing..
a short burst of light from your room or sun once every few days is enough..
:P
if you opened the container, it gave light :P

Foaf had a bunch of cakes that fruited just barely then halted, removing the wire mesh supporting the cakes and placing cakes directly on the perlight re-induced pinning and fruiting.

I would guess humidity/moisture content is the culprit..

You say they DO need light to pin, I say they DON'T. Listen son, listen to what i'm trying to tell you. I have grown (in my dreams of course) in absolute darkness. You cant sit there and tell me that they wont grow without light. They grow in every which direction though because there is no light to direct but the point of the matter is that they do grow. So don't come in here with your fucking words in caps and try to tell me. Try it yourself, make some cakes and put them in darkness. Bet you'll feel dumb after they pin. See ya sweet cheeks!

P.S
You say "if you opened the container, it gave light :P". I didn't have no light under them stairs. I didn't need light to just take a simple top off and fan the bastards.

Nonfunctional, how did you see them well enough to know if they pinned?

Shrooms don't need much light at all.

Ok ok. I am sorry for comeing off so strong. Useualy I don't get so pissed but I hate it when someone tells me different from something that I know is true. Sorry for being a dick but I was just trying to make a point. Also though, I saw them when I pulled the cakes out to pick em
