good advice!
i think my dad will drive again like last time though, and if we get too drunk there are always cheap hotels to visit.

Going there 22th December and staying for three weeks, absolutely love it in Thailand!
It'll be my fourth time going there!

Too bad the drug policy is fucked up.

I thought of a few more:

1a. Never assume that it's just going to be a fart.

1b. Always carry toilet paper and a change of undies.

2. Don't get a BJ from a girl who recently ate somtam.

3. Ask to see a list of prices before you order any beer, and never follow a tout into a bar or allow them to follow you in.

4. Never pick a fight in Thailand. You will lose.

haha the last one is definitely the best.
i was thinking about visiting some muay thai training gyms while i was there.
definitely the coolest martial art. i should watch a couple fights too.

The arena on Sainamyen road in Patong is cooler (think Bloodsport w/JCVD) than the new boxing stadium by Jungceylon, although the new one is more clean.

Beer isn't a dollar where you come from? I feel sorry for you if that's the main attraction :-(.

Go for longer than a month and for sure go more places than just phuket. Get up to laos/cambodia if you can, they are even cheaper than thailand so no excuses really.
