INFJ

I've taken it a couple times and I usually get INFJ too, although depending how I answer some questions the F/T can be pretty close.  I usually get F but it's always pretty close to T.

Some of these questions are hard for me to answer

Tests that are simply yes/no are hard for a lot of people to answer because not everything is so black and white.  These tests should never be taken too seriously.

What seems to be more common here, though, is the abundance of people with the N function.  Saw a couple extroverts post here but I think rulesq is the only person that got sensing over intuition and if he would have answered just one question differently he would have turned out with N too (1% S preference...).

The E/I part is pretty easy for most people to understand but I think the rest of the types are more complicated than most people think.  Like feeling vs. thinking... pretty sure a lot of people don't understand what this means in regards to this test but there is more to it than "do you think or do you feel?"

the fact that they're all yes/no questions i think is better for classification, but not so much for deep insight.

yes/no, on/off, go/stop.. these are bits of information that are variable between two relative positions. together they form a pattern, a pattern that can be identified by certain definitions as a relation to the accumulated information bits\

its a lot like how computers work, and i think its a good system for classifying personality. but of course not the only way to define one's self. this is just like a structure for decision making, processing information, planning, and problem solving. we each have our own ways of doin' thangs, and this myers briggs thang is just meant to clarify the main categories of doin' thangs

your thoughts and expressions: internal(i)/external(e)
information source preference: abstract(n)/concrete(s)
information is processed thru: thoughts(t)/feelings(f)
information form preference: structured(j)/chaotic(p)

myers briggs himself was intp

This time I got ISTP.

I would like this a lot more if it was possible to get the "right" answers. Some of them I have no idea ("You are usually the first to react to a sudden event, such as
the telephone ringing or unexpected question") and some of them it's possible how I think I am is different than how I actually am ("When solving a problem you would rather follow
a familiar approach than seek a new one").

I've taken this test multiple times over the years and I always get ENTP.

INFP
Introvert(22%)  iNtuitive(50%)  Feeling(38%)  Perceiving(22)%
You have slight preference of Introversion over Extraversion (22%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (50%)
You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (38%)
You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (22%)

interesting analysis!!! I can see similarities with most of it..

Famous INFPs:
Homer
Virgil
Mary, mother of Jesus
William Shakespeare, bard of Avon
A. A. Milne (Winnie the Pooh)
Helen Keller, deaf and blind author
Neil Diamond, vocalist
James Taylor, vocalist

Fictional INFPs:
E.T.: the ExtraTerrestrial

Sooooo from what I can see from the similar INFP people, I'm some sort of hybrid artistic, musical, poetic lyricist with a lack of sensory awareness!!!......... and also with some sort of intergallatic cosmic child bearing abilities!!!!

:super:
