Anime... the ultimate taboo

I've started watching Attack on Titan recently after reconnecting with my second best friend, who has started watching this series.

Hellsing was good too back in the day.

Evangelion was just fuckin' pimp.

Dragonball was probably dece but TBH I watched it for the gokupenis back before I discovered Google Images for my lusty homo desires.



Anyone else here watch anime here and there? I'd have phrased that "Anyone here otaku?" but then I'd have given away the fact I watched Sensitive Pornograph... the movie that made me fap more than 300 did (which is saying something).

Noice! You're clearly eclectic when it comes to these things. I've only heard of a couple of those... my philosophy professor Aunt loves Death Note so that may be next on my list :aweyeah:

I was soo fucking pumped when not only did the local libraries start embracing this, but my high school actually started filling some shelves with manga.

Sgnt. Frog and the Hellsing manga are some of the best.


And Dragonball manga... gotta be able to fap to the Gokupenis when DVD players aren't available. You're only 11 years old once :shrug:


Battle Royale's manga's superb too.

I must confess I've been a huge anime fan for a while and it annoys the ever-lovin shit outta my girl. 
I love your list mello and there were some on there I definitely have to catch. xxxholic seems like one to see after seeing an episode, the backgrounds were very intense.  Like the rush of a decent come up.  As for a list of my favs definitely some classics and super surprised somebody didn't mention the movie, Akira!  When I was a teenager I remember first smoking cannabis and seeing that for the first time and :mindblown:

i love bleach and full metal alchemist, cowboy bebop pretty good.

I'll have to check out some of these I haven't heard of before.

Nice, I just got into anime and was scourging google for a list and then this thread, WIN!

Just finished watching guilty crown. Avid fan of Naruto!

Rurouni kenshin/samurai x was good.

I'm not a huge anime fan but a few things have caught my eye over the years.


Cowboy Bebop and Akira have been mentioned, both great.

FLCL was pretty funny/fucked up from what I can remember.


Hayao Miyazaki's work is some of my favorite, especially:
  -Princess Mononoke
  -Spirited Away
  -Howl's Moving Castle
  -Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind

I thought Death Note was pretty intense. Some fine writing right there.

The movie "Sword Of the Stranger" is probably some of the best anime i've ever watched. Mature and realistic, great story and cool animations.
