Mycotopia offline error?

For the past few days, if I try to visit any part of the Mycotopia website I get an 'offline error' page saying I don't have permission to access the site. Is this some issue they're having recently? I've never even been a member of the site (just lurked for years), so would be very curious if my IP is getting blocked for some bizarre reason. If others can try and access the forums for me, at least I'd have a clue. Cheers.

They probably made it private. Try to sign up.

Yeah, I suspected that was a possibility. I tried the register link, but get the same no permission page. Damn shame as there is a tek for a clear refined mimosa hostilis tea tek I was going to try this weekend.
Thank you for trying.

Aye, but this one was specifically for a clear, refined tea that uses egg whites to remove the tannins and gunk... leaving a clear red liquid... which removes the come-up nausea. I have a vague idea of it from reading the tek a few weeks back, but the specifics concerning when and what temperature to put the egg whites in (too hot it hardens straight away and won't bind ALL the tannins, too cold and it doesn't bind ANY of the tannins) are a bit vague.
Oh well, trial and error.
Cheers.

Hmm. Very interesting. I've been dealing with DMT for years and never heard anything like this. Pretty cool. One small thing though I really doubt you will get rid of the purge. Even if you use a pharmahusca with pure DMT you will probably throw up. Its kind of part of the whole thing. I've taken both preparations about I'd say 40 or 50 times and only once did I not purge. Still boggles my mind to this day. The trip was pretty weird though. Its like I was waiting for it and it never came so I was unable to really get anything out of it. About 4 hours later I was feeling pretty baseline and ate a cheese steak. Kicked that trip right back in. But if you come across that information again, do tell. I'd be very interested.

The site has been fucked for over a month, you couldn't post or anything because they were converting the database or some shit. That conversion appears to be finished now, but I still can't sign in to my account (well I can but nothing works.) Hopefully they get it functioning normally sometime soon.

No worries, if you have powdered root bark. Do it like this...
Put it (5 - 8 grams is enough for my purpose, powder is very potent imho ) in a tea bag, put it in a pan with 300 - 500ml water add some lemon. Cook it for 30 min, press out the tea bag with your fingers to get all juices out. You can repeat it if you want, most of the time I only cook it once... then discard the rootbark.
Then be sure you have enough water still in your pan. Not less then 250ml. Let it all cool down to 70C or less then add 1 egg white. (If your water is to hot the egg white will become solid instantly ) Slowly heat it up again just below boiling point, and this purple tannins start to come up and scoop them all off and boil down to 200 - 300ml or so.
Then poor your brew in a pot, put it in the fridge and after 12 - 24 hours the remaining egg white with tannin will be in the bottom of your pot. Decant off - et voila clear mimosa tea no purge...

Hey I'm a Mod on Topia and for those who do come to Topia the site will be up soon. We had some issues in the upgrade and of course our web master had to fit in a vacation and move into new digs.
I have seen the new site and right now only Admin and Mods can log on. Soon it will be visible to all our other members. Hang in these who do like Topia as the new setup is pretty awesome imo.
I also want to thank the members, mods, and Admin of the Shroomery you all have been very cool to me and I really appreciate that!
I don't get the whole one OMC is better than another but hell I'm a peace lovin hippie and think it's in all of our best interest to not have a whos site is better than the others,at least not from me.
So Topiates who are hanging here the site will be up soon. I will keep people apprised if they so wish.
Otherwise thank you Shroomery everyone has been really awesome to me and I appreciate that more then you know. For me I missed the community and looking at awesome grows. You have a special site and I will mos deff be stopping back!
This is a great community and I'm glad I could chill here and I will stop in to show some love. Thank you all!!

I don't believe that the site doesn't allow you to access it, I saw that the admin posted a message that informed you that it was only for a week that that would be so. After a week passed by they would grant you the permission to use the website again, I believe my brother also used to use that website. I think I have actual proof to record the fact that he actually did visit this site over three years ago, three years before I first joined that website, for my friend first suggested it to my brother without me suspecting that he was wishing to suggest it to me afterwards, for I actually knew my sister was informing me that someone else wanted to suggest that same thing to me, to join this website that I had so desired to join.
Sometimes you cannot refuse to acknowledge the desire to join a website in which you were not going to use for long before someone bans you from the site in order to punish you harshly for disobeying the command to not use the site. As if you no longer could even use the site if you wanted, that someone just took away your rights to use the site and you would have to use a different site now. As if you feel you have lost everything now that you can't use this site, a pang of terror strikes you since you no longer shall use the old one. For it will be abandoned.

Sometimes I wonder if drkkenny is just a bot, programmed to construct sentences that only appear at first glance as if they might relate to the topic being discussed.
