Forgot to answer this part - I haven't tried it, the only real difference between this and franks tek is the heat source.  I dont see why one couldnt work for the other.

In a week I will be getting some poo.  I will try this tek with the poo to make a tub.  Only difference is I am going to stop cooking once the middle of the poo is 150 degrees.
