Outkast is out with a Double CD on the 23 of September ...
Atmosphere is out with a new album as well on the 23 ... called Seven's Travels ...

Parliament Funk and George Clinton are in Louisville tonight for $35 ... a bit pricey ... but I might go.

Hieroglyphics will be in Louisville on the 15th of October for all those interested.

Aesop Rock in Chicago on the 25 of September ... a Thurs (doesn't look good for me as a college student)  :frown:

aww, george clinton was in louisville tonight? I bet that would have been a fun show, never seen them. Represent the bluegrass though! (even though louisville just kicked our ass) Can't wait to hear the outkast cd... i'm not a big rap fan but I love outkast.

So I had a small conversation with Slug of Atmosphere at Scribble Jam in August. Basically, I was gettin him to John Hancock some of his wax I had bought, and making small talk in the mean time. I told him to come back to Louisville, for the last show was dope. And it was. One of the best I've been to. Anyways ...

*Atmosphere's going to be in Louisville on the 29th of October
*Hieroglyphics ... Louisville ... October 15th
*Aesop and El-P ... Chicago ... September 25th
*Aesop and rest of Def Jux (Murs, Mr. Lif) ... Columbus ... October 25th
*Aesop Rock's new album on the 23rd of Sept.

Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Micranots, BK one and Dibb's is coming to my town the 19th, can't wait to see that, and Aesop Rock in San Francisco on the 26th, I'll probably go to that. And then Oct. 30th Cannibal Ox in Frisco which I'll defiantly see

Atmosphere is part of a collective group called Rythmesayers Entertainment. Basically ... when Atmosphere brings out a new album, Slug is the front man, and sometimes the songs feature other peeps from Rythmesayers. When Atmosphere tours and does shows, Slug will do the show with a DJ, mostly Mr. Dibbs, and with an accompanying MC, sometimes part of the Rythmesayers crew. For instance, I've seen Atmosphere once with Blueprint (of Soul Position), and I've seen Atmosphere with Murs (who's on Def Jux and is part of Rythmesayers).

Atmosphere is going to be in Louisville, KY on the 29th of October at Headlines Music Hall ... www.headlinersmusic.com
