Without knowing the history of the parents it's going to be impossible. It does have features of both, so is likely a hybrid of some kind. It's an active Trichocereus though, but how active somebody will have to determine through bioassay.

Its not a 'peruvianus hybrid' in the sense of one kind of peruvianus X another kind. Its possible one parent was peruvianus and another was something else like pachanoi, even that is a guess and theres no way to tell anything more specific. If someone saw it in the wild it would likely be called T. pachanoi. Nice cactus.

It is a hybrid tricho, without more information is hard to say and usually it's fool to claim it to any known species without any information about where you got it, usa, eu, asia? etc.. would be help much better than pics cause the skin and spines of these kind trichos doesn't tell anything about it and it' origin(if not going too far over 300years back to andes)
Better way to get know the cactus you have is asking the origin of it from person who give/sold it to you and try find out, in a good lock you can know in best case patch of seeds where this has grown or origin of seeds.
About my hybrids and what I know from them is only country where the seeds are from but parents of them is just guessing cause seed patch where these hybrids are grown from are from another side of the world and nursery know they are hybridized plants most likely from active trichocereus plants but I have never tried of the potency of them.
You have nice cutting there, if you collect plants, no matter is it active or not.. Possible it is active but how active, it is mystery as long as there are not known person ingested this specimen.
In some parts of the world all similar trichos spines or not) are just considered as san pedro as long as they have mescaline in the cactus. Somewhere san pedro is name for spineless cactus or short spine one..
Don't bother your self by trying to find out what species you have, unless you are not going back to person(s) who have got this at first place as cutting or probably grow it from patch of seeds. Yet is hard to know for sure. Lots of nurseries and people will produce seeds from trichocereus and they are not always quite sure what trichocereus(as father) has pollinated the original mother cactus.
...only very very expensive chemical spectrum analysis and DNA analysis will reveal some information but you need some "pure" specimens where you compare the plant, otherwise DNA map is just useless information to use.
Just keep it as trichocereus or san pedro?

I'd put money on it being half pachanoi. Other half could be anything. The thick one on the left looks pedigree pachanoi, possibly non-PC too.
The dark "hybrid" looks very tasty tho... check out that thick dark green flesh under the skin, that's what I like to see!
