Key to okcupid for me was to write an individual reply to every single person you want to speak to.  Generic replies can work but IMO not for the kind of girls I'm after.

Look at their profiles and find things that they do that you do or are interested in.  Forget about how they look.  Qualify them based on what they think and who they are.  The ones that don't reply back aren't interested, fuck them, there are hundreds of girls to choose from.


IMO it helps a lot to be a good typer (speed), or at LEAST a good writer (content/depth).  Women tend to have a more well-rounded sense of sensuality and are attracted to many things while males are typically attracted primarily (if not exclusively) to appearance.

Treat every girl like a narc and qualify them.  The ones that you feel are worth it are the ones you spend your time on.


Be playful, not information-dense.  Don't supplicate.  They have cot, you have dick.  You're both equal.  Don't be a dick unless you know how to do it effectively (usually requires humor as well).  Don't be negative of yourself or them, NEVER say ANYTHING negative AT ALL unless you're joking and your joke is EASY to understand and not ambiguous.

Demonstrate (without trying hard) that you're fun and enjoyable company.

I finally set up a profile, surprisingly enough a girl contacted me almost instantly.

What finally inspired me is this guys video. In many ways he explains me and i'm sure many other guys out there.

Yeah other than talking a bit to this girl I haven't made any kind of effort to meet anyone else yet, so I don't really have any advice yet. Definitely update your profile if you haven't since you've been on for a while. I'm feeling pretty optimistic about this so I'll update if I meet any more.

It might have been mentioned, but how long should you wait to ask a person to meet up in real life? I've been talking to a nice girl about many things for almost three days, and we have a lot in common. Would it be pushing my luck to ask her if she's interested in meeting up in the near future?

Well we've exchanges at least 10 messages. So I think I made the right choice asking her. At least i'll be able to live at ease knowing whether this girl actually wants to meet me or not.
