Roll Your Own Cigs

Just wondering how many of you roll your own cigs? What brand of tobacco do you prefer and how much is a lb of rolling tobacco where you live? I have been rolling my own for a few years and save shit loads of money.

I used to roll my own cigs when I smoked. Really thin ones with a joint filter in the back.

Smoking cigarettes SUCKS. IT SUCKS.

But if you want to smoke, rolling your own is the best way. Rolling tobacco is much better than cigarette tobacco, you can dose it just like you want it and you'll have the satisfying ritual of rolling your own cigarette witrh each break, which actually is a bit more fun than the smoking itself if you think about it.

I quit, and I happily quit, but I miss rolling more than smoking. I had this meticulous ritual for it, very Zen, even though its fucking cancer sticks that will kill you years before your time.

I do.  Have done for years. Smoke less and spend less. Pretty common in the uk. About 30% or more of smokers roll I think

agreed that it sucks for your health.lol. seems that the tobacco i buy has less additives in it compared to store bought packs. I don't roll by hand anymore, i have one of those Tops rolling machines.

If you use a regular rolling machine you are sdtill forced to smoke 0.7-1.3gr tobacco per cigarette.

Look, before quitting I smoked a cigarette every half hour, or about 30 cigarettes per day. So I smoked like a chimney! But, I only put 0.25 grams of tobacco in a cigarette, so I did inhale at a rate of 7.5 grams of tobacco each day.

BUT!  Had I smoked a storebought cigarette each half hour, I would have inhaled at 30 grams a day, 4 times as much weight.

So whaddaya think is less harmful to health?

Rolling is CHEAPER and its BETTER. You smoke less and the tobacco you smoke is better quality. They couldnt sell the crap thats packed in cigs seperately, people would not buy it. Take a name brand cig and rip it apart, see whats in. Now compare that with a good quality rolling tobacco. It does not match up, cig tobacco is like shredded hay in comparison.

agreed again, i also roll my cigs loosely. You can put as much or as little tobacco in a cig that you want.

I roll thin too. I spend £3.50 ($6) a time and it lasts me almost a week.
20 smokes would cost me £6.50+ and last 2 days

I don't usually smoke. However,when I do,I smoke a pipe with a very fine quality pipe tobacco. If you think rolling a cig is zen,try smoking a pipe for an hour or two. I also think it may be less harmful than even rolling tobacco.

When I go to my cardiac appointments I always inform them that I occasionally smoke a pipe,they never criticize it and I have been passing all of the stress tests (running a mile plus uphill with a heart rate/oxygen monitor) with flying colors.

Another reason why I enjoy pipe smoking is the flavors and scents. There is just nothing I can compare it to.

Also,I find I smoke much less than people who smoke cigarettes. If you smoke for an hour with a nicotine buzz that lasts for over an hour,why would you wan to smoke again that day? Granted a fine smoke can be on the expensive side,it lasts a long while.

No, I don't but I used to.

I always had issues with the cigarette being packed too tight that you could barely take a drag, or packed too loosely that half of the tobacco would fall out when you put it in a pack. I also used one of those sliding hand machines to make the cigs so that might of been the problem.

Yeah they are pretty shitty. It is also down to how you put the tobacco in. Should pull it apart first. I always just roll by hand and find it easy.....But smoking still sucks ass.
Maybe some of that proper tobacco that makes you high but this stuff nowadays is whack.

Then I found out I can go to the reservation gas station and buy a carton of Paul malls for $35

Yeah i got cigs off a reservation before, but with a rolling machine it is so fast. and costs like a buck a pack at the most.

the rolling machine i have is made by the Tops company take like 5 seconds to roll a cig.

My friend rolls his own Ciggs I remember one time he made me roll him a cigg I had a big bamboo and I'm talking stuffed that fucker to the brim, THE BRIM.  He smoked on that shit for like an hour the tokes were like bong hits.
