I have not had my hair touched in 3 years.  The off chance I do get it cut I go to a top of the line stylist.  $25 for a beautiful looking mane is worth it to me.

It used to happen to me all the time.

Back in highschool, I used to have the "emo slash" ( like this guy: http://i1358.photobucket.com/albums/q761/kitty2095/emo-hairstyles-for-boys-25_zpsdddfd370.jpg ).  The first barber to do it was some Thai lady who couldn't speak English.. but she gave me the best hairstyling I ever had.

I let it grow for a couple years and went to get it trimmed up/evened out (Thai lady disappeared), but the woman butchered my hair.  She took damn near 6 inches off instead of 2 and slaughtered the style.  Imagine a bowl cut but with a huge ass bowl.  I looked like more of a tool than before.
..went to a different shop a year later to get it fixed and the same thing happened.  Mind you, I was super pissed as I was at these fancy hair salons that my mom took me to and each haircut was costing around $70.

I've not since gotten a haircut. :lol:  It has been about 3-4 years now.  I'm in need of a trim due to a few split ends, but I'm afraid of them taking too much off.

I may, still yet, say fuck it and just dread it.  I like the way it looks better when I don't wash it for a few weeks.

Barber wtf? Haven't been to a barber in like 20 years.

I used to rock long hair but then had to cut it for a job.
I still haven't payed for a haircut in 20 years.. my chick is a pro hairdresser so she cuts it for me
She charges $100 for clients and has been doing some of the same people for 15 years. but I gets it for free.
I'm growing it back out again though, because fuck short hair.

i cut my own hair. i dont see what the big deal is :shrug:

i keep it about neck length in the back, and cut around the ears on the sides

the rest from there is just evening it out, which is easy to do with a mirror

Well.. I tried it once and I ended up looking half retarded.
My chick is a professional hairdresser who has been doing it 15+ years and she would never cut her own hair :shrug:
It's almost impossible to get all the right angles. Esp in the back and whatnot. I guess it doesn't matter if you just do a bowl cut.

lol well if you care that much about your hair to have every tiny detail correct, then i guess you should go to a barber or stylist.
