The barber fucked up

So I went to the barber earlier to get a haircut for my job, I told the barber I wanted to keep the same style I have, but shorter. And in the blink of an eye I'm looking like forrest gump :facepalm:. I decided to just not say anything and accept the cut :shrug:.  Anyone ever got. A messed up haircut at the barber?

My hair usually looks wrong when I get it cut, give it a week or 2 and it will usually start looking normal again

Man I had two terrible haircuts in a row recently until I finally went to an actual hair stylist (my cousin) who didn't cut my hair like a fucking retard :mad2: I mean, it's my fault because you look at it and say its alright at the end but your hair is wet and shit it's hard to tell. The first one was the worst my hair was longer on the sides than the top. It was all fucked up. Like an almost-mullet. I had longer hair so I think this messed her up and/or discouraged her, but she was really nice and hot as shit. I even tipped her, my worst haircut ever. I learned more about hair through these bad hair cuts than I ever wanted to know, like I noticed almost every hair cut has shorter sides and a longer top area. Never noticed that shit before. I don't think I'm going to go to regular barber shops anymore it's worth it to go somewhere else where they have more incentive to give a shit.

Like I'm sure cutting hair sucks after a few months or whatever but every time I go in I'm just thinking plleasee have mercy on my head and give a shit. Just one more time, cmon. Hair is important.

Yeah if possible avoid the chain places and obviously the really cheap places. Chain places for the most part employ the least experienced (because they're cheaper) and cheap places -- well, ya get what you pay for.

I probably overpay to some but I want to make sure it's done right, so I'll drop $20 on a cut. I go to an old school barber shop -- these dudes have been cutting hair their whole lives. They take their sweet time perfecting your cut and their approval shows every time I walk in there because they always have a long line of motherfuckers patiently waiting to get faded up.

This is why i don't pay anyone shit to cut my hair and i do it myself.
If i fuck up it's on me and i can fix it.

I know a guy who gets his cuts at some place in the hood where these Asian and Mexican chicks charge $4 a cut. FOUR DOLLARS.

I normally cut my own hair for this reason, I've had a lot of people cut my hair too much. For some reason telling people "Just clean it up, don't cut too much off" Ends up me losing  3+ inches of hair when I barely have any to begin with. WTF?

I'm not trying to be bald here god damnit.

My last haircut wasn't so bad, even though I would have liked it shorter. I wanted to get the fuck out of there though. This lady who was cutting my hair was making small talk by talking about how her day went and so on, and she must have hit a soft spot somewhere because she immediately started to tear up. While cutting my hair she was sniffling about how it's hard for her to get up in the mornings because she's so depressed, and I truly felt bad...but I was in a totally weird position there. After the haircut I even bought some $30 bottle of shampoo I will probably never use since I thought it might make her day. That was definitely the weirdest haircut I have ever gotten.

Even though I'm pretty sure she was being genuine, the following days after the haircut I couldn't help but think I might have gotten hustled. :awenuhuh:
