Yeah.  My computer cost $1300, and I didn't even buy a GFX card with it, I used one I already had.  I would consider my computer to be pretty great, but $900 definitely does not cut it for an "amazing" one.

I heard they cut back all the crazy DRM shit they had planned, which is good, but seriously fuck microsoft the damage has already been done. Im sick of putting up with their bullshit year in year out. I bought the 360 and Original on release in years past. I


Ill probably buy and xbox one years down the road on resale but im finally switching over to Playstation. I used to be a pretty ardent Xbox fanboy but i really dont see the point anymore. Ive gone through like 4 360s i think, the things have no durability. Paying for XBL is kind of a pain, plus i cant wait to try some of the Playstation exclusive titles.

Oh and I also have a Gaming Rig for the certain must get PC titles. (RPG's or games with crazy good graphics)

I know i jumped in this thread pretty late but are any of you guys pretty excited about this or what? Most of my real life gamer friends could care less. it seems to me that Playstation is going to win over public opinion,

Console are highly optimized for gaming.  I can't say for sure, but i think they might be about on par for gaming performance.

Maybe when they're released. However give it not even a year or two or PC performance outweighs consoles. Don't get me wrong I'm not talking about if PC or consoles are more relevant from each other, but honestly a PC is always going to be more optimized for a longer period of time(aside from a new gen console being released imho).

with comps there is ALWAYS hitches and hiccups.

consoles may not be as optimized and "ahead of the curve" but it's getting better.

I agree. I understand not everyone feels the same but I like messing with the tweaks and hiccups, but I get a real satisfaction when not only did I accomplish a trial I have that edge~

The thing about Consoles is they have much more accessibility and less of a learning curve  than a gaming rig. I dont really think that can be disputed. It is as easy as slide the disc in the consoles drive and enjoy.
