I've been through 12 360s over the last 10 years.  Most of them red-ringed and were sent in for repair.  2 of them scratched discs, which were repaired for free but my discs were ruined.  I ended up returning them to Walmart and got them replaced for free as well.  I've also had the problem, where I had to push in on the disc tray to get it to come out when I'd push the open button. That one was replaced as well.  This most recent one I have now has lasted 2 years, but just the other day it started over heating and shutting itself off when I play it. 

I still own the original old white console.  Piece of shit.  My kids have a nice black slim console with the kinect.  It seems to work fine.

MS would have to do some serious shit to get me to buy their next console and from what I've heard....they are going in the opposite direction as far as I'm concerned.

Yep. I was just about to comment on this.

1. I don't think this is going to help. The xbox one will still be $100 more than the PS4.

2. The kinect coming with the console is still a turn off for me. I don't like the idea of that thing constantly running and invading my privacy.

3. That sarcastic comment he made probably turned a bunch of people off from wanting to buy it anyways.

4. My guess is they seen that the PS4 was dominating them in preorders so now they decided to change it. Case in point, they don't care anything about the gamers. Only thing they care about is money. That engineer in the quote that was posted on here stated they had the gamers best interest at heart. Now that they've went back on it, they totally just proved that guy wrong.

I'm a PC gamer but even watching this console war has really turned me off to Microsoft. I'd switch to Linux if I didn't already have windows 7 and many games allowed linux

As bad as microsoft is, gamestop is worse.  Xbox/microsoft wanted a piece of the used game market.

It's kind of a catch 22,  while I was upset over microsoft's initial decision I was happy they took away the bread and butter of greedy ass gamestop.

You want to talk about a company that has the motto fuck the customer, it's gamestop.  You can't return a game that you bought an hour ago.  Lets say you buy the wrong game or decide you don't like the brand new $60 game you just bought, you can't return it for money back or even store credit. 

Your option is to sell the mint condition game you opened and played once back to them for less than half the price you bought it for.  If you're willing to take in store credit they might offer you a value of half of what you payed.  And then the greedy fuckers, sell it for at most $5 less than the brand new unopened game.

FUCK GAMESTOP!
