HYPHAL KNOTS KICK ASS!!!

Ok, Well I havent posted in a while cuz I was worried about this grow mocking me like my first. Well its been 6 days after I birthed them into my poormans pod with the air diffuser and all that pimp shit. I took out all of the perlite cuz that shit pisses me off and is messy as fuck. I took a shit load of little lava rocks from my front yard and soaked um in diluted bleach, then baked them dry and used them. Well I looked at the cakes today cuz I been ignoring um I havent checked them in 3 days. Well I inspected all the cakes and they got a shit load of hyphal knots all over them. And all the verm on the tops and the sides i coated the cake with got raised furry mycelium growth. They look like furr cakes. But I'm really happy it seems that they are gonna grow good as fuck. I cant wait for pins!! Hopfully in 2 days pins popup. The strain is creeper if you are wondering. I will post pics soon as i get some pins, cuz my cam sucks and there is no point in taking pics of all the knots they are too small for them to show up on the cam. Thank you all for your help as always. And Magash you rock bro. The poorman's pod is the way to go. I dont even got to fan or any of that fuck shit. :lol:

No they are knots shirley, after my first grow i learned alot, and i know what the knots look like thats why i am excited. Knots are actually quite tiny when they first popup. They are about the size of the tip of a pen and the got an almost glossy look to them. And they usually group together. I know my shit girl friend :lol:
My first grow i learned alot from and one of those  things is what hyphal knots look like, because i watched them from knot turn into pin. Rock on!!

did you take my advice and sacrifice one cake by grabing it and squeezing it as hard as you can in your hand,then throw it on the ground and stump on it screaming pin you cock sucking horr of a blaaaaaaaaaaaa. lol

i was thinking that might scar the shit out of the others and they would fruit much faster.

i'm a compulsive lyer and i'm delusional so don't listen to me.you might just waste a perfectly good cake.

I woke up today and found some very very tiny pins on some of the cakes. And lots of hyphal knots, i mean a shit load of them, some spots have a good 20 in one spot the size of a silver dollar. So I hope they dont abort and be cock suckers like my last grow. I thought the knots become pins over 24 hours, So i guess I will find out tommorrow when i wake up, if the pins that did pop up get any bigger. I also noticed some of my cakes got very small beads of water sticking um to um. Is that because the humidity is really high? Should i dab them with a napkin? I mean I'm really happy and all because my last grow took a little over a month to get pins, i noticed after 6 days hyphal knots. So I musta just got a poor fruiting strain last time. And the last thing is my room is the hottest in the house and is maybe 85 degrees max. Should I move my setup to a cooler room? I live in the desert so it get cool in my room at nite. But if you think about it that kinnda imatates nature hot during the day and cold at nite.

take a syringe and inject some sterile (boiled and cooled) water into the center of the cake once you get some good pins going. they will explode overnight :smile:

That is near impossible to do, maybe if I use the straw tek. I tried that with my last grow, i couldnt push the syringe down for shit, plus i just inspected all of the cakes for a good 5 mins each. I counted over 300 on one cake and all the other cakes seem to have the same amount of knots if not more. There are also water beads small as the knots on the cakes should i sop um up? Plus if i were to use a straw in the middle of the cakes, there are tiny tiny white pins in the middle of some of the cakes.

Yea I also forgot to mention I dunked these cakes for 18 hours prior to birthing. I also coated the fuck out of um in verm. So is this neccasary?

Mine are furry, and they got a good 300 knots on each cake they are fucking busting out like a virus. I'll take a pic right now and add it on here i dont know how well it will show up cuz i got a webcam but imma gonna try.

O by the was these were taken with a webcam so they suck really bad. The first one you cant see but that one white spot that is all lit up is all knots.

congrats, my AFOAF has just birthed 7 cakes and its been two and a half days and no change in appearance :frown:

they are at 73 degrees, 99%RH, perlite in terrarium, cold shock/dunk done for 12 hours
