Its been a week just hyphal knots?

I colonized 6 jars 3 gulf coast 1 cambodian 2 acadian coast in half pint jars using pf tek brf. They colonized fully plus 5 added days in a month, I then put them in the terrium i made as following........
1. rubbermaid 100 liter container
2. 2 and half inches of perlite
3. a plastic screen like thing to set the cakes above the perlite a half centimeter.
4. i poured 3 gallons of water everywhere till the perlite started fluffing up
5. i also cut a large triangle hole on the top added saram wrap with tape on top
and i have a spiral 25 watt fluorscent light 12 hours on a day about 5 feet up in the air from it.
6. i used tons of lysol before putting them in, i didnt sterilize the pertlite which i dont think is neccasary and this is my 3rd grow attempt.
7. I dunked 2 right away for 12 hours in the fridge also.
my others involved 1 cake that survived of 12, the ones in here now all made it perfect with no contams because of a new sterilizing method. i waited a month for that one to pin which it had some hyphal knots thats about it.
MY QUESTION ** its been 7 days and theres lots of white craters everywhere espically on the dunked ones Some come out really pointy and stick about 10 mm straight out HOW LONG TILL I SEE PINS and do you think im gonna succed this time THANKS

Those aren't hyphal knots, its just the mycelium getting fluffy. My cakes always do that about a week before hyphal knots show. You're looking at up to 2 weeks till you see some pins

Yea, give it some time, relax :smile:  I waited 14 days before I saw anything.  As long as you give them the correct environmental conditions, you'll see pins soon.
