For anyone who wanted to know what hyphal knots and primordia look like......the small white dots are knots, and the larger whitish blobs are primordia......

Yep, cased with coir. That little bit on the right is dried out......

Cool. I'm in the middle of my first experiment with coir over straw and it's nice to have a comparison. How long has it been since you cased?

the cat cased these about 18? days ago, or about that (he can't remember very well, too much weed :grin:.....)--straight into the 78F rubbermaid (he doesn't incubate the casings 'cause they don't fit into the incubation chamber......)

he tells me the substrate is millet.....
