Karma's a cool idea but unfortunately it's not true. Shitty people have all kinds of nice things happening to them, and people who are incredible kind and generous often get screwed over incessantly.

That's an unfounded assumption. There's nothing to suggest we have any experience when we die.

I keep hearing this.
Or that I should watch out and change my ways because something called Karma is going to get me.
The last Karma I met was stripping at a second-rate club in Atlanta, and she was so thin from the coke and malnutrition that she wouldn't stand much of a chance if she wanted to go for a brawl out back.
Was there something about this girl I should be made aware of? Is she packing a six-shot or a switchblade up some orifice or another? She certainly didn't seem too threatening.
Just a bit pathetic.

Much like the religious and philosophical concept of Karma.

the western notion of karma is a bastardized version of the original concept--not unlike most other western adoptions of 'mystical' eastern cultures

in it's original form, karma merely refers to the fact that actions generally lead to further events--a concept akin to cause and effect--with the idea that karmic action perpetuate the cycle of existence, and only by acting non-karmically (no nonsense about good or bad karma) can one eventually escape the cycle of existence, samsara

I look at this as the emotional state immediately prior to death.

If one has led a moral and fulfilling life, they are much more likely to experience contentment when accepting death as opposed to someone who has been selfish and hedonistic. :shrug:

I Just dont understand...Why if you have so much swag and you have women all over you do you even bother getting involved with someone elses girl?
