I think it's ridiculous that all of you are giving OP such a hard time over all of this.

None of you seem to place the blame on the woman where it belongs. She's a human being who is making her own decisions. By putting the blame on the other guy, you're basically objectifying the woman as if she is a piece of property that he has stolen from you.

If her boyfriend isn't your friend, why should he concern you?  Of course, I do agree that people who fuck their friends' wives and girlfriends should be treated as backstabbers, but these are two-faced people who are not trustworthy in any circumstance, not just the cheating wife scenario. Even then, the wife should be equally (if not more) culpable.

To call OP the "scum of the earth" for consenting to sex with a woman seeking it from him--when, for all intents and purposes, he knows nothing of the "boyfriend" on the other end--is childish. It conjures the image of an insecure man who isn't confident enough in his own ability to maintain a relationship with the girl, so he lashes out on those who might be able to actually satisfy her.

If you cheated with my gf I'd bash your skull in to the point of brains oozing all over the pavement. even if we were best friends. She would never do that to me though.

Anyone that would willingly cheat on their BF/GF that easily is a scumbag anyway and not relationship material, if you are willingly facilitating the cheating then yeah you are too. Both people are equally guilty.

Just be careful out there. You may just break some guys heart, or he may unload a magazine into your face. But keep doing it and eventually it WILL catch up to you.

I never said you should. I just said  "hypothetically"  it makes you and the girl a scumbag. And you might get hurt.
Fuck with involved girls if you like, but don't be surprised if/when it comes around to bite you in the ass.
I'm just going on personal experience. One of my friends in high school cheated with my other friend's GF.. they were almost best friends at the time. Said friend beat the ever-living shit out of other friend, and dumped the bitch. He deserved getting the shit beaten out of him though, and honestly he got off easy. Other people wouldn't be so controlled.

Well, if we are going by hypothetical, my girl doesn't go out to bars and sleep with guys.
You would know she was in a relationship, because she would tell you and if you pursued it she would tell you to fuck off.
And if for some reason you roofied her or whatever, yeah I'd kill a motherfucker.

This is just a hypothetical situation right. My girl would never cheat.

I have trouble with this sort of thing. A bit of background:

I've generally stuck to longer relationships. My current girlfriend and I, for instance, just celebrated our 6 year "anniversary." Notice the quotes and use of the word girlfriend. As a matter of fact, many of my friends have been in a relationship for several years and aren't planning on getting married, so the whole "boyfriend means nothing" comment is entirely invalid. We have a four year old daughter for fucks sake. We also live in TN, and I can tell you from my life's experience that everyone in the South doesn't fuck their family. Those people are as much an anomaly here as anywhere else. But thanks for showing your prejudice.

All that said, I have intellectual disagreements with monogamy on the whole, and I think others do as well. Unfortunately my emotions work against my logic in this case, so I opted toward the strongest of the two forces I guess. In other words, logically I don't see what's wrong or impossible with loving more than one person, but if I caught my girl cheating, the threat of disaster would definitely be present.

So when it comes to advising others in these matters, I'm at a loss. I guess if I weren't into long relationships, I'd say this is fair game. It has more to do with what You want to live with than anyone else's morals, because that will range from "definitely do that shit" to "adultery is an unforgivable sin and you belong in hell."

If that's what you're into OP, more power to you. If it's weighing on your conscience, give it a rest. But this has always been a bad place for personal problems, at least in my experience.
