Not for sales or anything just to tired of having nothing when I want to trip, an when I do have caps I don't want them LOL so I was wondering what is the best method of Bulk cultivation for shroomz? an ya I looked at the tutorials in the bulk folder on the site but nothing popped up to me. could some one tell me what they think is the best to them an were to get the tutorial... Pic tutorials are most helpful.
Thanks.

Go to the advanced cultivation forum and type 'BULK' in the search box at the bottom right and click 'Search'. You will get more info than you know what to do with.

A good bulk tek would be with the use of wheat straw or compost. Wheat straw is easiest. Do this: Buy some: wheat straw. pillow case vermiculite perlite large rubber maid container
Chop the wheat straw up with scissors about 1 inch long. Make enough to fill the pillow case half full. Tie the top Put the straw/pillowcase in a large pot fill with water put a weight of some sorts on the straw to hold it down. let the water go about 1 inch over the top of the straw. Pasterize the straw( let it come almost to a boil, then keep it at that heat for 1 hour) Turn off heat Put the wire rack from the oven over the sick and use it for a drainage station. Take the pillow case full of straw and put it on the rack to drain and cool. Keep the juice in the pot for nutrient water for your next batch of cakes. While its cooling, clean and sterilize the 4 shoebox size containers with lysol. Now using very clean conditions, take some of the straw and put it in the bottom of each container(1/2 inch thick) Take a cake and break it up , sprinkle a thin layer on the straw. Then add another layer of straw on top, then more cake, etc. Use 2 cakes per pan. The last layer should be straw.(make sure no white shows through the top. Take plastic wrap and put a sheet over each of the pans. With a fork heated up with a candle, punch alot of holes in the cover, but not too much:) With gloved CLEAN hands mash the "sandwich" down as much as you can. Put these containers in a warm dark area for about a week to 2 weeks. Once the top of the straw is showing at least 70% white they can be fruited. Take the large container and put a layer of h2o2 soaked perlite in the bottom. Put the 4 smaller containers on top of the layer of moist perlite. Remove the syran wrap covers put a thin layer of moist( vermiculite/h202) verm on top of each tray 1/8 inch thick. Now put the top on the large container and put it in the light for at least 12 hours a day. Keep the temps around 70-80 as long as the sides of the large container show condensation it is humid enough. Every few days take the top off and fan the CO2 buildup out. A few fans and it should be fine. Then just let it grow. After each flush, you need to spray a fine mist on top of the "beds" And you may need to spray the walls of the large container with a mixture of H202 and water. bluhoney

Hi MaddHatter! Yea I know, Ive been slack LOL. Ok, so the wheat straw tek is out huh. Hmmm, ok so the poster has poo and hydrated lime. Pasteurize the poo. Mix in some vermiculite to keep it airy. Now after it cools put it in a large Rubbermaid container. Break up your cakes into tiny pieces and spread them into the poo. Put a 3mil piece of plastic with a few holes for air punch in over the tub of poo. Now let it sit in a warm place, 86 degree or so and let the cakes colonize the poo. Then take some peatmoss, mixed with hydrated lime, and water-- pasteurized in an oven in an aluminum foil covered pan for 1 hr, let cool--- Once the poo has colonized, take the plastic off and case with the peat moss. Keep the humidity high 90 % Give it light every day 12 hours would be best. Hope this helps. bluhoney

You just want to case evenly and if you're using peat moss crumble it between your fingers (after sqeezing almost all the extra water out) to keep it airy. A buildup of CO2 is usually very benificial for peat moss. You just have to keep it at incubating temps and let it run through -- if patches of mycelium start to come up unevenly (i.e. only a few spots) patch it by adding fresh casing. Once the mycelium is evenly poking through the casing in little spots all around it it's time to fruit -- cold shock if you want and then bring down to 70-75 deg. + light + more O2.
Oh, yeh -- make sure to take out ALL the little twigs, sticks and whatnot from the peat moss.
