How hard is It to get into long boarding? I used to skate but I sucked at tricks. nollie/ollie was all I could do. I've wake boarded a lot though and get up pretty easy on a surf board so balance/riding isn't an issue. My main fear is those stop slides. I don't want that kiddy shit of bombing a hill and then diving into the grass to stop :facepalm:

Ive never been able to break the wheels loose enough on a skateboard to slide though. But I've really been wanting to ride lately

Gotta get low so that you can really push that board out!
Invest in some sliding gloves if your really into it.

Fuck yeah man I longboard 10 blocks about 3-4 nights a week and its fucking awesome. Longboarding & tripping was like surfing it was intense

If anyone wants to buy my Loaded Vanguard I'll sell it for $225. Great condition. Wheels in excellent shape, 70s Flashback 70mm 78a. Forget what bearings. ABEC7 or 11, can't remember. Paris trucks. I just got back into skateboarding. Need a new deck soon. Don't really longboard anymore

I had the best time with a couple of mates rolling around a huge car park ollieing stairs and skating a ledge on 2c-b a few weeks ago.
