it's only 50 meters across. I'm pretty sure I've read that it would take
an asteroid up to 2 miles wide to take us all out.

if it was an extremely fast asteroid, it could pack the same amount of energy into a collision as a big one.

One asteroid impact is one too many. It would definitely fuck shit up if it did hit us, even if it isn't quite 2 miles wide.

Like someone else said, it would have as much of a impact as the Tunguska event.
It'll fuck shit up depending how close you are. Nothing close to being a major
threat.
