ooo PDU - i love piercings. yumyumyum. I was just offered to get some free work done... can't figure out what i want now. id LOVE a lip ring but... im kinda limited to having NO facial piercings... and the bf isnt into nipple rings... it's a shame.

The septum...the first time it was pierced, went through the cartiledge and it was much more traumatizing than any of my near death experience's, it really fucking hurt, was crooked, and instantly taken out.

The second time, hurt a fair bit..at 16g, Stretching it a guage at a time to a 10g was painful, then i started using knitting needle's and it never really hurt anymore, with the exception of 2g (the picture shown) originall stretching to that made me cry.
0g soon, that'll make me cry too.

You actually have cartilage left? I was considering getting mine stretched, but only if the pain isn't really that ridiculous. I can fit a silly little earring in at this point (getting it straight w/ a cheesy stud took a few attempts)...what would you recommend (i.e., 24 guage)?

The piercing isnt even through the cartiledge, its below it. At 6g it ripped the back part of the septum from the cartiledge (that hurt), and it stretches easily now, i cut down knitting needles from thrift stores...theres like 4 or 5 different sizes of knitting needle's between guages, where as its 1 size only with a taper...Stretching like a third of a MM at a time is awesome, stretches real fast. Sometimes it will be tight after a stretch, and until it loosens theres constant pressure on the cartiledge, and thats uncomfortable.

You can fit an earing through your septum? If your asking about getting your septum pierced, get it at a 10-12-14g id say.

When I *used* to have drug probs i nearly peirced my septum (not by desire to rip septum). Only peircings I ever had were in middle school, and I had my ears peirced. On the other hand I would be one to peirce peoples ears. Maybe I should peirce nips for a livin?
