I am starting to see a good many sheriffs in my state, that being Oregon, take a stand on the Presidents proposals. I find this very interesting as in the last county I lived in the Sheriff basically told the feds to fuck off, and he wasn't the only one to say that on that previous issue.
Now when the feds are talking about bans on weapons of a certain style, a lot more are chiming in and saying, we won't enforce that.

I find this all very interesting. Now of course if certain rifles are banned one wouyld not be able to purchase them from a dealer, but if you happened to be out shooting a banned rifle nothing would happen, as long as you are in that county and not land owned by the state or government.
Anyone else out there hearing the same from you local counties, or states?
What do you think this all means, more local and state right in the face of overbearing federal claws?
Could this be the start of something bigger?
