***The JFI TEK*** Pic inculded
    #1753089 -

This was all relayed to me by a canine, therefore I take no responsibility of how one wishes to use this.

The JFI or "Juggalo Floating Island" Tek is a variation on both the fruiting chamber, and casing method. The JFI tek was adapted from various techniques including Magesh's pod, and the 60/40 coir casing.
The show must go on:

We will be using a 122 Qt. Sterlie container. First cut a hole (5"x3")in the top (for light) cover with clear platic, use tape on the outside of the strelite container (Never the inside) to secure the plastic, then drill a 1/2" hole
near the top:

Next you will need to aquire both air tubing and a pump that will circulate a at least a 20 gallon aquarium. I like the one at Wal-Mart which can be purchased for about 10 bucks. "Aqua Culture" (20-60 Gallon Double Outlet Pump)

You will drill a 1/8" hole (may need to be drilled out a bit)
hole about 6" from the bottom of the sterlite to accomodate a syringe cap. You will then fit the tubing into the cap with a drop of superglue.

Next push the syringe cap/tubing through your hole and secure with with favorite product (i.e. silicone, liquid nails, ect.)
With you syringe cap in place, run your tubing around the diameter of your sterlite/terrarium. Use liquid nail/silicone to hold it in place.

Let it setup, and stuff your 1/2" hole with polyfill. This will allow for both a CO2 escape and an exit for your line to attach to you pump. (I like to soak my polyfill in alcohol prior to placing it.)
Now take a needle, and puncture several holes in the line. Exclude the places that secure your line:

Time to give her a little test. Fill with 1" of water and turn the pump on. If you had patience with hole poking she will bubble like this:

Now you will fill the bottom with perlite, don't forget the H2O2, and salt they are your friends  3cups H2O2 + 1/2 cup of salt evenly distributed.

Now you have a nice bubbley terrarium congrats

Now lets JFI case:

Useing 1/2 block Coco Coir, Pictured here:

Combine with approx. 4 cups of verm:

Mix to field capacity. It WILL take awhile for the coir to expand be patient. Microwave @ 5 minutes. Let rest for 2minutes. Repeat x 2.

Now add an extra 2 cups of (bottled)H20:

Then to the freezer:

Leave in the freezer for 2 hours, (you are putting steaming hot substrate in there) then take it out and it will have built up nice ice crystals like this:

Now put it in the fridge.

We will be working with 10 1/2 pint jars. Here there are 3 BRF and 7 popcorn. (one is missing in the pic):

Empty the jars into a Gallon ziplock bag, break up, and break out the water yet again I use 1 bottle of water (500ML):

Into the fridge for 1 hour.
We will be using large baking trays. These are: 13"x10"x3". They also come with a clear lid that will form your island for your casing to rest on. Fill the pan with 1" of your substrate (or 5 1/2 pints this tek will make two semi-large casings with 10 1/2 pints 5 pints per casing):

Now place the ice cold casing material on top approx 1/2" to 1":
(Be CLEAN! Use gloves and a mask, ect.)

Now take your clear plastic lids (that came with the trays) and swab them with alcohol then place them into the terrarium which will provide and island for your casing to stand on:

Close her up, wait, watch and anticipate:

This tek uses somewhat unorthodox methods. I.e. not letting the casing heal in the incubator, dunking for 1 hour, ect. But the results are beautiful. Basically the dawg doesn't want to hear how this can be imporoved as it varies from person to person. This is what has worked for him.

Umm can I put in the FAQ/Tek section?

its seems that u just want ur own "tek"

if u start labeling every procedure thats just slightly dif then aanother or just a combo oft two preexisting tekstheres nothing in it except for a title..

u must really want ur name in a tek

or no ur dogs name

Time until pinning and harvest depend on the strain, and terrarium conditions.
