Whats the longest time it takes to start collinizing

Hey guys,
Whats the longest time it has taken for one of your brf/verm jars to finaly show sighnes of and start collinization.

you mean how long till they germinate and you see mycelia growth? about 5 days and you should see growth if that is what you were asking?

If there isn't growth in 7 days with good temps, SWIM re-PCs the jars and re-innocs.

SWIM rePCs the jars? First time ive ever heard that. If your a noob like me you shure wont know either. But I can tell you that if you dont see growth in 14 days you should can that project. You should see growth in 3-7 days. Make sure its pitch black and between 70 and 88 degrees. They will grow anywhere between these temps, 86 is optimum though, and better to gamble with the cooler temps than the hotter temps. Over heating is very unforgiving and under heating is more forgiving.

Yeah, he re-PC's 'em, just to make sure nothing's living in them that he might've introduced that he didn't mean to.  Always better safe than sorry -- or at least, better to be sure than sorry.  THat's the great thing...you re-PC 'em, and it's good as new, basically.  :wink:

o pressure cook, wouldnt that would kill the spores though. You mean re-pc then reinnoculte I assume?
