How long does it take for your BRF jars to collinate?
    #3348309 -

I'm on my first grow with brown rice flower and vermiculite cakes. I saw the first signs of collinization at 3 days. I'm wondering how long it will be before i can birth the cake? How long does it take everyone here to get a fully collinized jar?

it all depends on temps and conditions.. some people get jars done in 11 days, others in a month...

Welcome NRZ...

Based on reading and re-reading all the teks, as I have done, it seems like it can take as little as 8-10 days or a few weeks depending on many variables.

My buddy just finished with his first set of jars. He had some success, but he needs to change some things for the next round. A few of his jars moved quickly and they were fine. Several of them took up to a month, and when he did open them many were contamed, though fully colonized. bummer!

Next round he'll be focusing on keeping the substrate "airy" not packed at all and keeping the temps up. I think he's also going to try a few jars or popcorn.

NRZ good luck and read read read.
