BRF jar to jar innoculation
    #542307 - 02/06/02 09:20 AM (22 years, 8 months ago)

Would this work...?

I take two fully colonized brf jars and 8 sterile substrate jars (with a little room left in them). I take out the two colonized cakes and cut each into 4 pieces. Use those eight pieces to innoculate the other 8 jars.

Outside of the chance for contamination, is this theory flawed for one reason or five?

i dont see why not, i think you would have to worry about contams on both ends, the new uncolonized jars and if you contam the cakes. youll probably have to break up your cakes really fine though
