Condensation in BRF jars ?
    #556757 - 02/19/02 08:43 PM (23 years, 3 months ago)

My dogs jars have condensation on the inside of them. They are about halfway through & it's been 2 weeks. I do not see any yellowing. But I was wondering if he should just ride it out or maybe try to do something like loosen the lid. Or he can put them in a bathroom with a gas heater to maybe dry them out some. What do y'all think he should do? His cakes are standard PF tek BRF. This is his 1st time trying this also.

Thanks Spot

well, my friend and your dog seem to have had the same deal going on. his first jars that he ever made had a BIT too much water in them and there was pretty heavy condensation on them, he found that there was no harm done although they took a bit longer than normal to finish.

That's the same thing that happened with Jeff's jars. He just rode it out and they birthed great! No damage.

the only way it would be a problem is if your cakes are really really too wet, in which case they may not colonize the wettest part (the bottom).. if that happens just flip them upside down and the verm barrier should absorb most of the extra moisture
