Ok birthed wednesday. Tonight I saw a bunch of little wite things prutrudeing off the cakes, they look like little slug anntenna or something. I was expecting like cm high rounded hills or bumps if you will. But these are like 3 cm long and are very thin, there are like 3 of them bunched together in several places.... IS THIS IT!? am I fixing to have pins? they dont have brown heads...... Sorry no pic

yeah ok then mm,,,,,,,, does this sound like whats suppost to happen? they look like antenna on a snail or slug and most are grouped in two or three. Whats next ..... how long....... holy shit I wanted them to grow so fuking bad ,,,,, does god not hate me after all? j/k

like i said if it is finger like structures that is Rhyzomorphic growth but that usually happends on casings allot you are fine
Rhyzomorph - Root-like. An adjective used to describe the appearance of the mycelium of some mushroom strains. Rhyzomorphic growing mycelium is usually a sign of a well fruiting strain

2 of 4 cakes have them. Theyre are 2 south africans and 2 golden teachers in there. I lost track of which are wich, which is the more aggresive pinner? which is likely to be the two on their way up already on day 3, if thats whats happening.

Are these rhizos gonna become the pins or is this just an activicty of the mycellia? Pins being a seperate structure.

pins are a separate structure.
My friend had exactly what you are describing. He eventually had to turn his humidity down in order to get pins, but I'm not saying thats what you should do unless you don't get pins in a week

yeah, thank you. I heard if the terrarium is creating moisture droplets on the sides the rh is just right. So im just spraying once a day. Thank you all!
