I live in Australia. I haven't heard of pizotifen before but I'm researching it now. Thanks for the tip.

I understand how your missus feels about the psychedelic effects. I'm so sick of having to get high so frequently. I had a bad migraine on the weekend and I was putting off taking shrooms and I was trying everything else first but the pain was too much and I had to take shrooms. Everything was fine after that. A 4 hour high beats 3 days of being in excruciating pain.

Why are supplies limited for you? Do you not grow them?

Regarding the dose, I remember when I first took it I got away with having one size 000 capsule of ground up shrooms. However, I got those from someone else and I was not able to weigh them. I remember times when one capsule was not enough either.

These days I take 2 capsules when aborting a migraine which ensures that the migraine goes away. When I've weighed capsuled that I've filled myself then I get at least 0.8 grams but generally it's about 0.9 grams and as high as 1.0 gram. Going on those measurements I guess I can get away with taking approximately 1.6 grams to abort a migraine.

How goes your lady store and take her shrooms?

Normally i would take 2.7grams for a full blown trip. so 2 grams would be a medium trip for me... and tripping is something i dont really like to do unless i feel well emotionally and physically as it can make me anxious. Hence why the other night i just decided to take less than a gram... maybe had i taken more i would have been rid of the scintillating scotoma aswell.
My greatest fear is to end up tripping with a migraine though. that would be hell, I think the psychedelic effects of even the small dose i took may have made my zig zags look bigger than they were, plus i was feeling nauseated and dizzy. maybe next time ill try a bigger dose to see if it fully rids all symptoms of migraine.

There is definitely a dietary connection, the day i got my migraine i had been eating the skin off a ready cooked supermarket rotissery chicken which are typically seasoned with derivatives of MSG.

I read somewhere that taking a daily supplement of Magnesium will prevent migraines. Another is the serotonin precursor 5HTP typically used in the treatment of depression and anxiety.

If you can get some benzodiazepines from your doctor then they are handy to use if you have to take some shrooms when you really don't want to. You can calm yourself down or put yourself to sleep.

Its semilanceata, liberty-caps she uses, a bit stronger than cubes, thats why only half a grams enough to fend of the headaches, we pick them wild in coalfields in autumn, we have been lucky to collect just enough to keep her going autumn to autumn.

Am now looking in to growing cubes as alternative, and if we can do it it will be a godsend because picking is incredibly time consuming, it takes over my life for a period of a couple of months each autumn.  In addition pickings a bit risky, a few years ago we had an outbreak of 'foot and mouth' disease in UK and the public was baned off of farmland for about 6 months, if that happened again at picking time Mrs would be fuked up proper.

We keep the shrooms in big glass jars, I take them out of the jars a few times in the year and fan dry them for a few hours just to make sure they dont go moldy.

I you can get pizotifen, or what ever its brand name might be where you are, I'm sure a similar medication regime to the wife's could help.  The Dr. doesn't like the fact that Mrs is on such a high dose of pizotifen (2 times standard dose daily) side affects are slight drowsiness and weight gain.  The shrooms were a blessing and the option to kill a headache instantly is marvelous, but my wife still insists she cant do without pizotifen, and who cares anyway if it means life without pain is possible.

You guys need to grow your own so you have a stable supply. You can easily have more than you know what to do with and it takes away the stress of not knowing if you'll be able to get enough shrooms to treat your pain with.

If you're looking for a good way to store them then using capsules is a good way to go. Grind them up with a cheap electric coffee grinder and use a Cap M Quik kit to put them into capsules. It makes them easy to carry around and consume and it does not look so dodgy as it would be if you had to pull out a bag of shrooms in public.
