Oh yeah (sorry-forgot)...should I place the cakes on the vermaculite to rehydrate them or anything?

Sounds like everything is ok. Each day, when you get up and take a shower, fan your terrarium and check to see if the walls are sweating. (100% humidity :smile: ) If they are, fan it once in the morning and after your shower before you go to bed. if the walls aren't sweating, mist the walls with water/hydrogen peroxide mix. Try not to spray the cakes, just the walls. Other than that, sit back and enjoy the wonders of nature!
