There are parts of Montreal, like Westmount, that have extremely steep hills - next to San Francisco and maybe Seattle, the craziest hills in a big city. I have still have no idea how people manage to live up on the side of Mnt Royal in the winter. I don't know how they could even do snow removal on some of them.
