I've never used or seen anybody use nitrous but I would like to try it tripping sometime I just need to know how you get it I heard you can get it outta whip cream cans but do you just put a balloon over the nozzle push half way and let the gas leak? Does anyone know any good ways of using\getting nitrous extracted from cans or other sources? any information would be appriciated.

I purchase mine from the local smoke shop, you can also get them at sex shops I hear. It is usually a box of 20 little C02 type canisters for $20, and then you need to buy a cracker and baloon to use it properly. So for about $25 bucks you would be set for many trips. I only used 1 canister and my trip went up by 1 level.

For best effect after injecting the nitrous into the baloon inhale in and out as many times without endangering yourself to passing out.

If you're going to use a cracker and balloon...make sure you realize that as the nitrous decompresses out of the canister into the balloon, it gets VERY cold, VERY fast. Wear a good winter glove on the hand you will be cradling the balloon/cracker in.

Also, do NOT inhale nitrous out of a cracker/cartridge directly...you can seriously damage your tongue, throat and lungs that way.

Acid + Nitrous was my favorite experience ever. First time I tried it I was on 5 or 6 hits of acid...and then I had my first balloon...it was like sitting in the lap of God.

Ask for whip cream canisters at your local head shop.

Nitrous is amazing when combined with other things :nut:

Make sure to buy at least 3 balloons, they can wear out fast. There is nothing worse than having your one and only balloon go bust.

I'd recommend just buying bottles of whip cream and if you like it head on to chargers / dispenser therefore no need for balloons

First of all, I wholeheartedly hope you get to experience nitrous soon, especially when shrooming.  And then come back and tell about it :laugh:

Ebay is your friend when it comes to nitrous, especially Creamright for prices, quality, service and honesty (also at www.creamright.com).  Their cheapest stuff is also the tastiest. They simply rock, and i would definitely suggest bying both N2O from them AND a dispenser, if you have the extra 20 or so bucks to spare.  Cracker and baloons (at smokeshop if they are allowed in your area, or online if not.  Google is your friend as well :wink:) will run you about 15 anyways so...  Both methods are fun though.

What does nitrous do to your brain? I love it, but I tend to feel slow for a day or two after doing some balloons at a party. It "feels" like it actually kills brain cells. I dont know.

That nasty feeling you get after you do too much nitrous is probably just basically a hangover. When you fuck with your brain chemicals,they tend to rebound the other way after the drugs are gone.

It does kill brain cells, but I would not say an amazingly large amount...not more than most kids do parting w/o it. The feeling you get on it and the after effects are not from dieing brain cells...

How do you know you aren't living a hallucination?

Anyway,yeah I'm not 100% sure ,just like I'm not 100% sure about anything,but there isn't a large amount of credible scientific evidence that suggest nitrous "kills brain cells" (which is too general and meaningless in a neurological aspect anyway.The vast majority of drug induced brain damage isn't direct cell death,ie "dead brain cells").

Nitros doesnt kill brain cells.
No real drugs kill brain cells. Unless your talking about solvents, and such.

Nitros is used by the dental industry, they administered me nitros last week, they wouldnt administer it if it caused brain damage.

And what do you expect when you hear "kills brain cells" thats the most common lie about drugs that you are fed by the government. Its not like the nitros goes into your brain and attacks it. the nitros reacts with your chemicals to produce the effects.

The nitrous you get has more than 20 percent oxygen mixed in though... isn't that a factor?

Just a little info from me to all european users. The following site offers an EXCELLENT tool for opening those little nitrous capsules. Trust me, it is worth the money, i got one by myself.

an easy cheap way of getting nitrous quickly is stopping at the local sheetz and buying a bottle of whip cream, hold it up right, push the release like your spraying whip cream into your mouth except the gas comes out and inhale

and yes nitrous kills brain cells, although not directly or in large amounts

its amazing to me half the people saying it doesnt kill brain cells cant even spell brain right

even if it didnt, dont you think the lack of oxygen from inhaling straight nitrous would? .... the shit they use at dentists office is has different composition ratios of nitrous oxide and oxygen and such and is administered in controlled amounts unlike taking a huge hit of nitrous and having your lips turn blue

"Kills brain cells" is to vague to describe drug induced brain damage.

That would be a very expensive way to obtain nitrous as each hit would require you to buy a new can of whip cream.

It's amazing to me that most of the people claiming that it does "kill brain cells" rely on the logical fallacy that it must do so because of the way it makes them feel,with no hard evidence to back it up.

You kinda have a point there,as oxygen deprivation most definately causes brain damage,but you would have to breathe in a whole shit load of nitrous to get to that point. The average use of nitrous probably causes no more oxygen deprivation than hitting a joint.
Also,larger amounts of nitrous are generally used in medical settings than recreational use.

Uh...yes. You want info? Read the link below. Nitrous does kill brain cells and can lead to permanent damage. Anything which deprives oxygen to the brain can lead to permanent damage...even hyperventilating yourself to get high can cause damage.
