Armillaria gallica? Seem too big...

I found what I believe to be Armillaria gallica, I found them a few miles away a couple days ago... They are very similar but the base doesn't look nearly as swollen, cap is darker(believe from moisture due to rain) and some are HUGE compared to Mushroomexpert.com's description of 2-6cm.. 6cm is 2.3 inches, some of these were about 4 which is nearly double the range...

Could they be anything but A. gallica?

They do appear to be Armillaria, but I am unsure which species.
