There modeling so you can have a reasonable idea of how insanely big it is. Look at the scale of chicago, and then the scale of the building. Its absolutely insane.

Think about how crowded China is (or is that Japan?  I know Tokyo's crowded...let's assume China is crowded too, for recreational purposes).  Then people WOULD have to spend a lot of time on the elevator to get to high floors.

That could be circumvented with the invention of a vertical magnet train/subway like thing lol.  Massive crowds getting onto a subway like thing, and just shooting straight upward at high speeds like a roller coaster.  :loldongs:

I think it'd be cooler if a state took a plot of land next to a city, and made a block or two or really ornate buildings in an old, ornate style or even art deco.

95% of the design is prefabricated at the factory. It's not traditional onsite construction. Seems like a giant snap together model assembled in 90days.

Also, no shortage of cheap labor in China bound by unions and inspectors. It would be impossible to do this based on working standards set in the West. Impressive if they can pull it off.

Yeah its impossible in the west, but only because we like liveable fuckin working conditions and wages over here.

I hear that term so much but have never known what it means and never really cared enough to look it up.
