To spread some degree of fear is responsible when there is a real threat to be feared, and necessary to break complacency.

You misread what I was saying. My point is that the actions of the elite are human actions, not otherworldy or reptilian actions. I'm not saying you should take responsibility for it, I'm saying that just calling them reptilians completely removes their personal responsibility.

To spread fear about a reptilian hybrid race when there are real problems in the world is just another way of blinding people to what is actually going on and keeping them concerned with aliens and complacent with real problems.

As I said earlier-- it's semi-poetic, it's pop mythology. It's a creative way of describing the situation in which we find ourselves, where a handful of deeply sick people lead millions to the slaughter. Calling them reptilian isn't meant to take away their responsibility, it's meant to emphasize the inexorability of their bad behavior. They are not in control of their actions in any way that we can understand. Rape and slaughter are their food and water, and they must be stopped, regardless to any question of moral culpability.

okay, here is an important part of my position.  When I look at every human, I see otherwordly beings in some way, i.e. I see them as spirits.  To me, my belief in reincarnation essentially explains how humans very often come from 'off planet.'

You know after death we might hang around here, or some of us might go away for a long time.  Some could have spent their last life on a different planet, some on this one.  And basically, there is a huge continuum of mastery of this life and death cycle.  Some spiritual masters can actually leave their body by choice, but most people die without sufficient experience and are thus 'mere mortals.' And everyone in between

So yeah, the beings we are talking about might be 'human,' but they could very much be 'ET' too.  And the idea of a hybrid isn't so crazy at that point.

I realize these ideas seem like they are just all coming from the imagination, but the longer you ruminate on them the more you see, that is no reason to discard them.

A handful of deeply sick people leading millions to slaughter? Our world governments are not that corrupt or evil and there's nothing to suggest that they are. There are plenty of well intentioned people in power and most elites are probably well intentioned or misguided. The idea that you're perpetuating here is choosing an extreme rather than acknowledging the complexity of the motivations of the elites.

You believe they are not in control of their actions? Are they just more animalistic than you and I who are in control of and responsible for our own actions? There's simply nothing that I have ever seen to suggest this is true. They're just acting selfishly and greedily, which are natural traits that we can all move past for the betterment of society if we acknowledge and work through them rather than brushing them off as uncontrollable.

Who is raping and slaughtering in modern day political system which the reptilian theory is applied to?

That's what you see and what you believe. There's no evidence, which is my point here. There's no real reason to believe in anything without evidence other than "it feels right," which may tell you something about your own subconscious but really can't tell you anything about the outside world. It's fine if you want to believe it but you have to recognize that it's in no way a truth and people all over the world believe in thousands of other explanations and ideas with just as much faith/certainty as you do.

You just came up with this of your own accord. There's nothing inherent to the world or any solid evidence to prove this. Correct me if I'm wrong of course.

This is all coming from the imagination if you're relying on your own thoughts to come up with them. The only way we can have any knowledge is through testable means. If there's no hard evidence, it's probably not true. Your own ideas that you're coming up with are based upon your own limited perspective and life experiences.

Its that same old argument...you want evidence, and all I have is my own experience.  Life isn't all about scientific proof you know, some things go beyond that.

I didn't just come up with it, but hey I do realize I can't prove it beyond this, all I can say is keep reading about it and watching videos if you have a real interest.

I'm interested in hearing about your experiences even. You don't only have your own experiences though, you have access to the experiences/thoughts/ideas of countless other humans. I think the best way to find "the truth" is to share our perspectives with eachother. Horizon synthesis, if you will.

All we can know for sure is based in scientific proof. We know nothing for sure beyond that and beyond testable proof personal biases become too apparent and our own perception clouds our interpretation of our experiences.

I'd rather have a dialogue with someone who holds a specific belief than read about it or watch videos. The dynamic interaction and ability to ask questions always helps me to best understand the point of view of the believer.

I have yet to see W or his cabinet tried for war crimes, and by the time (if) they are convicted, there will already be another generation of reptiles benefiting themselves and their associates by perpetuating more senseless bloodshed and animosity among the ignorant and needy.

The motivations of the reptiles are no more complex than yours or mine: they wish to make life better for themselves and for their offspring. The trouble is that they are completely out of control and they cannot be held accountable for their violations of conventional morality. I acknowledge the problem with the reptilian position that it seems to enable generalizations about the elites, but I don't think it can be ignored that there is a parasitic class of hoarders and warmongers who benefit themselves at the expense of everybody else. They operate outside of our moral framework and you suggest they should be given its benefits even as they demonstrate their immunity to its repercussions.

By the way I'm finding this exchange pretty interesting. I also used to have a pretty negative opinion of Icke and his mythos, but after watching some of his videos he's grown on me a lot. Mistaken or not, I believe his motivations are pure and I feel the need to defend his ideas.

I think you are painting this portrait that Icke is all metaphorical about his conspiracies when in reality he really legitimately believes there are reptile people.

He's crazy. Crazy people resort to metaphors because they have nothing else. It's my belief we shouldn't discount the observations of crazy people out of hand.

I'm on my phone, too, so I can't see the video either. What's the name of it so I can see if there's another version available for mobile?

And someone mentioned they were unsure icke was under the influence when he was given his instructions about his role to spread the word about all his theories. He had drank ayahuasca.

Maybe I'll grow up someday and realize that these are just all crackpot theories, but for right now I see too many common themes shared around the world by different cultures about serpents being divinely inspired to rule, the serpent and dragon mythology in the bible, the return of the serpent or dragon heralded by the mayans that seems to correlate with the bible, blah blah blah, gucumatz, quetzelcoatl, the original serpent, cecrops 1, kolowisi, palulukong.... At this point in my life, I have to investigate it before I can convince myself that it's just nonsense.

How about the US soldier who killed 16 innocent victims in front of their own children? Are you completely oblivious to the wars that are occuring all around us?

Also, why are you picking on BlindSophist when he has explained numerous times that is allegorical? All your questions are asinine when his response repeats yet again:

I thought I remembered him mentioning that in the interview.  It's been a while since I've seen it and I was certainly on one drug or another.  Thanks for confirming that.

I think the thing about snakes and other reptiles appearing in mythologies of cultures all around the world has to do with these creatures being found all over the place.

Fear of snakes is considered to be very common.  My personal theory is because they look so alien to us, and things that are different can be frightening.  Also, snakes tend to have triangular shaped heads and 'fierce' looking eyes, which I think evolutionary psychologists would consider to be an aggressive physiology to our minds.  Because they frighten many people, they show up in art, mythology, and as allegorical representations of things we fear or think of as deceptive/cunning.  They seem to have a profound effect on the psyches of many, and I think this is the reason why we see them in the histories of many cultures.
