I didn't read the article, but there's no way in hell that kind of a structure could be built in 3 months.  There's only so many people that can work on a building at once, and you cannot build something that fast.

Every part of the skyscraper has been pre-constructed into bricks.  So to say.  It's like putting Legos together to put it simple.

doesnt really sound like cutting out structural integrity for speed of build is a great idea. Its not enough that its the tallest structure in the world, its gotta be built in three months flat? Not to mention it looks horribly utilitarian. This has fail written all over it.

The companies last two project were just a 15 then 30 story building based on this technology.  So what the hell, give them the 220 story, tallest building in the world contract and make sure it's up in 90 days.

It looks like typical dull architecture to me. It's nothing special or especially interesting. The days of artsy architecture like the Empire State Building are over. Today it's all lego blocks, rectangles, and squares. It's like they lobotomize the creative lobe from architecture students these days.

This is Communist China we're talking about here.  It's not about art.  It's about achieving a goal.  This goal is to build the tallest skyscraper in the world in the shortest amount of time possible.  That, to the normal man would seem a bit counterintuitive.
