You know what else is dumb? The US acting like men and women are equal. Try taking off your shirt if you're female and see what happens. You usually get registered as a sex offender. And even where it's legal, you get harassed.

The United States as a country is messed up. Pretend rights, pretend freedom, pretend democracy, and pretend equality.

The United States as a people are used, abused, pretty much slaves, and powerless to change anything, except of course every few years the powers that be pretend they can change it. Think of moving? Most countries where you're safe to live as an American have stopped immigration for most people and only want people who have certain skills or occupations. Even Canada has stopped allowing immigration from the US skilled workforce until sometime in 2013. Americans are trapped. Yay.

One of the biggest reasons why we still have the electoral college - and no one ever talks about this - is because going directly to a popular vote system would open the door wide open for federal initiatives. None of the powers that be want that. Imagine if the entire population could vote in an initiative to end the war in Afghanistan or to legalize marijuana. The electoral college prevents initiative voting from ever being an option, and those who are currently running things want to keep it that way.

What I love about the Electoral Voter is they don't even have to vote for the person his people tell him to vote for!  And they can totally get away with it too.

People need to wake the fuck up and open their eyes. More and more people are realizing the government is just feeding us bullshit. The only reason there is voting is to make the public "feel" like they have a say, and that they matter, since this is supposed to be a democracy after all. But its really not. Nothing but underhanded backroom deals, with politicians only in it for their own personal gains. And romney is a piece of shit liar, i cant believe people support this fuckstick. Look at how many lies he got caught in during the debate. Especially about the abortions, and the equal pay for women. He supported women not getting equal pay, but during the debate on live tv said he opposed it, of course he will say that because he will lose all women votes. These crooked motherfuckers just say what they think what we want to hear. He even tried to come off as latino while addressing a latino crowd to win their votes:ahahaha: But its not just romney, its all of them. Romneys problem is that hes just not good at feeding the public a serving of bullshit stew like the other politicians are.

people, even the large percentage of blacks that voted for obama are
disillusioned, if you read this site in 2007-2008 it seems that 90% of the
posters supported obama, there' were praise obama threads an all that crap,
people were telling us how much good he'd do and how he's legalize drugs
and all the other crap.


since then most of those people have piped up and stated that they'd never
vote for him again, they're bitching and moaning and far more people now
are discussing the positive side of the conservatives or the libertarians,
more are supporting the tea party and fewer supporting obama and this
website is dominantly liberals.

unemployment amongst blacks is still around 15%, their mortgages didnt get
paid, they didnt get an obamacar, they didnt get an extra welfare check
each month. they're disillusioned with him. the media has been using his
numbers from the last election to try and sway this one and while this
election may not have such a dramatic outcome, many people have compared
obama to jimmy carter in his performance and spinelessness and now the one
biggest thing that will carry into election day is the libya consulate
attack because now it's come out that they've been begging additional
security forces for for months prior to the attack and the administration
denied them that help. yes, hillary can take the blame and obama can throw
her under the bus, this kills her career anyway but can obama take the hit
with everyone learning about all the others under the bus with hillary

the 2008 election Obama had nearly double the electoral votes that McCain
did, this projection doesnt show quite as many in romney's favor

And if youre a felon you can NEVER leave. I tried to get a passport and found out i cannot get one. So to me it seems once you find out the truth about how shit REALLY WORKS in america, its too late because they wont let you leave this shithole.Im not saying its the worst country to live in, but there is definetly better places to live
