putting in an order for 1000ml jars

Well as I'm just on the verge of ordering I thought I better ask if 1000ml is indeed the right sort of size jar for rye and WBS type teks? Sorry to be lazy but I'm speaking to the guy right now!

500ml or 1000ml which would I be best getting? Thanks
