Yeah, definitely check out NLQP.  I'm from Northeastern Ohio and I've never been there but it sounds great, I recently met one of the guys from Dead Ahead, a Grateful Dead tribute band that regularly plays there.  NLQP is about an hour south of Cleveland and a huge outdoor venue as well as a campground.

Cleveland is a big city with lots of things to do.  Lakewood is an interesting town that's very close to Cleveland, nice record stores, restaurants, and general atmosphere.  Once you go father south things get more farm-y and hick-y, Columbus and Cincinnati are big cities that mix this up a bit.

Check out the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, definitely a cool place with lots of cool stuff.

As for Cleveland, the art museum is fucking AWESOME and they have many ancient Egyptian, Mesopotamain, Greek, and Roman works.  There is a natural history museum there as well, but I've never been there.  I'd imagine it's great though.
