You remember less than you know.  They have a sneaky way of erasing parts of your memory without leaving any cracks.  I accidentally ate 100mg of phenazepam a few years back, and lost 2 weeks of my memory, and didn't even realize it.  If I hadn't found myself in the psyche ward, I would have had no idea that those weeks ever existed.  I woke up one moring, just like every other morning, and thought what I remembered to be yesterday was actually yesterday.  Foolish

I eat 6mg alprazolam, 6mg etizolam, 20mg zolpidem, and 600mg phenibut per day.   I don't suggest it.

100mg of whatever the brand name of that stuff is is probably a lot different than 40mg Ambien...but yeah, there are certain parts I don't remember.  But there are some parts that I do (I went running around a pitch-black, empty dorm building at 5 in the morning )

Funny because ever since that trip, I have taken 10mg Ambien and tripped...when that amount used to put me to sleep.

Personally I don't think it's safe/wise to take any kind of sleeping pill/antidepressant/anti-psychotic for longer than a 6 month period. Any longer than that can cause permanent changes to your brain's receptors/neurotransmitter feedback system.

I've tripped on ambien before...for me it seems to seriously skew my thought process beyond recognition. For some reason I fell under the impression that my sleeping friend was a factory, and he needed Cheese Nips to run. So, trying to be helpful, I dumped a box of Cheese Nips on his face.

I took a picture with my cellphone and I STILL use that picture as his photo ID in my contacts list. Needless to say he was pretty pissed about it.

These are the same people who want you to do a CWE on two or three 5/500mg Vicodin.  Because we all know how deadly APAP really is.  Shit like that cracks me up.

what sucks is that i don't take any of that to get high. i tell my doc everything, including that i double up on my ambien to get to sleep. and she's just like "well, you need your sleep". i have had sleeping problems my entire life. i'm shooting to get off of klonopin next semester. low dose dependency to klonopin is what concerns me more than the ambien. i seem to do okay after a day or so without ambien.
