Ok yea this is kinda true.  But the people picking psychedelics vs the people picking opiates are the people picking feeling good all the time vs people that wanna trip whenever they want (as much or little as that may be)

if i naturally felt amazing all the time and had like a perfect drug balance already inside my brain 24/7, then yea fuck drugs.  but under those circumstances I'd choose LSD assuming that i'd still be affected by it, even if i'm perma-rolling so to speak.  because then add acid for pure additional recreation when you already feel great, omg heaven on earth?

The thing with heroin man, is that for one, you'd have to basically have a catheder in your arm 24/7 in order to constantly be under the influence of heroin, and that shit would get annoying.

Second, I've never done heroin before but I'm pretty sure that if you were on heroin 24/7, you would eventually just feel normal.  All heroin is is a painkilling opiate, so after awhile, I'm sure your body would downregulate its naturally produced opiates enough to the point where you being on heroin, would fee the same as your former, non-addicted self being sober, if that makes sense.

And then, if you got in a car crash or faced some other sort of severe pain there would be nothing to relieve your pain

So there's a downside to that too.
