Pachanoi monstrose cacti question

So i got this Pachanoi Monstrose cacti.. Whats goin on with the top.. is this  normal for this type of cacti or is a crest forming? any info would help. :smile: thanx jojoba

It looks like a cristate as opposed to a monstrose.

Not the crest in the back.. if thats what your talking about.. It seems i have some weird growth on the pachanoi monstrose tip in front.. trying to figure out whats goin on with it....

OK another question.. im not even sure if the crest is rooted yet.. but it has a rosey lil bud sticking out, and upon further examination there are many small rosey spots poking out.. are these going to be flowers..? can it flower when it isnt rooted yet..? here is some pics.. sorry, crappy camera..

That's the monstrose showing off. I have a few pachanoi monstrose hybrids as well; some of them shift columns and some look really trippy and melty once the 'bubbles' grow out.

The bubbly growth on top is the monstrose mutation, they get a bumpy and bubbly.
That is the cool thing with these, it looks strange.
The small "buds" is probably roots starting to form, they get these above soil sometimes, especially if high humidity or wet weather.
Flowers rarely form on older bigger Trichocereus plants, they are truly amazing and big.
