About poppy colors.
    #1650862 -

How do you know what color poppies you're getting? Are different strains different colors? Like Taz is red or w/e? Or does it depend on environment its grown in? Or is it that different plants are different colors and online vendors just grab any seeds and ship them off so theres no way to know or control what colors you get? :frown:

unless you buy a packet of f1 or f2 you wont get
the same colour throughout, they really varie a lot.
Even if its just different shades of purple.

Most of mine are self seeded, from cross pollonated stocks.

So the colour range is quite nice.Dont worrie to much about
different strains and different strengths, imo there all pretty
much the same :-)

Whatever, I guess I'll find out

f1 hybrids are basicaly two different parent plants crossed together, this
creates what is know as an f1 hybrid, they are stable and uniform, if you cross 2 f1 hybrids, they become unstable and very varied in colour size ext.

Im stoned so i may have just made up f2 as i cant remeber now what they are lol.
Maybe someone else can remeber :-)
