Crappy pics but can anyone ID?

Thanks for the link.

I think this is the same as the ones roaming the walls.  It's a little smaller though.

And I kinda fucked up his web trying to take a picture.

Nope.

Abdomen is not that round.  More flat.

Closer to funnel weaver going by the pics in that link,  but it says they stay mostly outside.

good looking. you may be right...the spider in question is indeed Tegenaria domestica (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tegenaria_domestica).

I stand corrected.

that sure looks like tegenaria agrestis, the hobo spider! i'd move the fuck out and burn my shit on the way out the door. read some horror stories about them if you want...for your sake i hope it's domestica. get a sample and take it to a entomology department at a nearby university(scheduled ahead).

I've heard horror stories from my sister in Oregon.

I'm 99% sure these are the harmless domestica variety.

Mine are larger than the description though.

If they turn out to be hobos I'm moving for sure.

If I wanted to live my life worrying about poisonous animals i'd move to Australia.

for the right woman i'd live just about anywhere.

i've never seen an issue first hand here with hobos, mostly just poop in the parks.

oh shit! i grew up with hobo spiders in my house. i had spider bites almost every night. i guess it just became normal. i haven't had the problem out here yet though. i don't think i've been bitten for years.

the last guy who dug obsidian with me had literally hundreds of mosquito bites and all types of fly bites all over him. he was completely covered worse than i've ever seen. i worked next to him and i never got a single bite, a knat in the ear once in awhile but... no words can describe, i should have got picture proof.

the very front two legs, the very short ones just outside the mouth do not have the rounded/plump tip that the hobo spider has, pretty sure it's the domestic species.

On the wiki page for hobo spider it says hobo's do not have the colored bands on the legs.

Domestica it is.

you're good unless you've been noticing itchy bite marks in the morning on a regular basis, usually two or three in a row.
