case stall?Please some info on how to....

Greetings from marz,

now a friend of a friend of this dude i knew has this case going the the terr right now. he used millet to spawn cow poo, buffered correctly and incubated. now it fully colonized in 4 days, bright bright white, nice and earthy, he then cased in stright verm cause he lacked most materials, and read once you can do this, and started to fruit it in his terr.. now its been going on week 4, perfects temps , misting and fanning daily, no contams.. and no pins.. he tried injecting it with cold water.nothing...cold shocking it ..nothing.. what can help the pinning process from here.. it is still very good smelling and no signs of contam... any info would help

It would seem you are doing everything ok but you don't say anything about light? I give mine 12 hours light and 12 hours dark and I always get pins with in 2-3 days after 100% colonized.so what am asking is do you use light as well?

Sounds like possible stroma or overlay.....try deep scratching along with the rest of your regiment. Sounds to me like the only thing that could be stopping pinns from forming.

Stroma And Overlay won't allow pins to form at all.

What is stroma? I have heard of overlay but not stroma.

Stroma ;
Dense mycelial growth without fruiting. Stroma occurs if spawn is mishandled or exposed to harmful petroleum-based fumes or chemicals. It also occurs in dry environments.

I'm not sure but don't you need to let the casing run through to the valleys of the casing surface before you start to fruit?
