stalled bird seed casing

i have been fruting my casing for a week now and no signs of pins it has seemed to stalled any tips for fruting bird seed straight verm please help

Give us some info.

What is your temp and Rh%?
How thick is your substrate/casing layer?

It usually takes a week+day(s) for pins to show for me. Depends on the strain and enviroment. Are you seeing any hyphal knots? (little white balls that seem more brighter then the surrounding mycellium. A Knot.) Basicly what is going to happen is when u put your casing into fruiting the mycellium will continue to colonize the casing then it will slow down (maybe this is what your seeing) to begin forming hypal knots. Atleast, this is what i notice.

I'd say give it more time. You want your temps around 74-78F with a Rh% of 95%-100%. Dont forget fresh air.
