ID request, Interior British Columbia.

Habitat: Deadwood, unsure of type of tree.

Gills: Free, no veil.  Soft.  White to black.

Stem: Whitish, pretty fragile, equal, hollow.

Cap: Beige, looks kinda like corduroy.

Spore print color: Spores appear black on gills.

Bruising: No color change was observed.

Location: Interior British Columbia Canada.

ya looks like Coprinellus micaceus or something very similar. you'll see that alot in our province.

you mean a TI ? dont worry its not anything special, its just a Coprinellus sp. probably C micaceus like i said.

Yes, I totally meant TI that is OK if it's common,  I am just trying to make an effort to learn the local species.
